Overview

Urzogkij Se was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1185, by Lumbiel Pritchardd. The establishment of Urzogkij Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Urzogkij Se's construction back out of the project. Lumbiel Pritchardd pushed on reguardles, and Urzogkij Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Urzogkij Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Urzogkij Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Urzogkij Se is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive packed earth streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Urzogkij Se is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This town is as a necropolice.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Urzogkij Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

In Urzogkij Se the water is caffeinated.

The Cloud Dragon, Wyrmling near Urzogkij Se are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Urzogkij Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves ritual combat to channel Enchantment energies of tier 1 via mimery.
